Field Placement II

For this semester, I completed my placement at Centennial Infant and Child Centre (CICC). At CICC, they offer the community: child care consultation, early intervention, and an integrated preschool program. Cristina, my placement supervisor is part of the child care consultation team, and works as a Resource Consultant. She covers the south quadrant of Toronto, which involves overseeing ten childcare centres that make up her caseload. Depending on the needs of her clients, she provides individual, program, and training consultation.

My time at CICC was incredibly resourceful, and I have gained more insight into the role of the Resource Consultant. Each week that I attended placement, I was always learning something new, and I am eager to apply this knowledge as a future Resource Consultant.
