Overall Summary

Working with Cristina, my placement supervisor, was an amazing educational experience. She was a positive support, and provided me with many different learning opportunities. I even had the chance to visit the Integrated Preschool Program at CICC! At the preschool program, I was able to meet children with different types of special needs. I got to see first-hand how assistive devices were used, and the strategies that the educators use to support the children.

Throughout this placement, I have learned how to create resources, make observations, develop ISPs, conduct individual/program consultations, and how to work in an interdisciplinary team. I am incredibly appreciative that Cristina gave me more responsibilities, and allowed me to take the lead in various occasions. It is because of this that I am more confident in my role as a future Resource Consultant.
